Are wooden railway tracks from brands like BRIO® included in Yamba's products?

We now offer two types of wooden railway tracks in our range: curves and ramps. These two versions are particularly popular when used in combination with our products. They can be purchased individually (9-piece curve set, 3-piece ramp set). These are very high-quality tracks compatible with all major brands (BRIO®, Eichhorn®, Hape®, etc.).

The "Wave Up" and "Starter Set Helix" product lines also include tracks. However, our Helix Sets and the small adapter sets do not contain any tracks.

Are Yamba building blocks compatible with all wooden train tracks?

Track pieces from brands like BRIO®, typically made of wood, are fully compatible with our products. Even track pieces from different manufacturers, which usually don't fit well together due to slight dimensional variations and manufacturing tolerances, always work perfectly with our components.

Are DUPLO® bricks or similar building blocks included in Yamba's products?

No, these are not included and can be purchased from various manufacturers. Currently, we do not offer building blocks in our range. If this changes, we will be happy to inform you.

Are Yamba building blocks compatible with all types of building blocks?

Building blocks from brands like DUPLO®, etc., are fully compatible with our products.

Are Yamba building blocks also compatible with LEGO® and other small building blocks?

Yes, even smaller building blocks like LEGO® are compatible with our products, although the connection is significantly more stable with larger building blocks.

What material are Yamba products made of?

Our products are made of high-quality plastic (ABS) and are exclusively manufactured using the injection molding process. This involves molding the parts into a form, ensuring highly precise and durable results. We do not offer components produced via 3D printing, as we firmly believe that such parts often lack quality and are therefore not suitable for children's use.

Why are Yamba products not made from sustainable or renewable raw materials?

This plastic has proven itself over decades and guarantees a product that can be passed down through generations.

Why is there no age restriction indicated on the packaging?

Because it’s not necessary. Wooden railway tracks and larger building blocks like DUPLO® are already safe for children under 3 years old. Our products are designed as accessories for these systems, ensuring the same level of safety for younger users and siblings. Playing with these well-known systems can lose its appeal as children grow older. By combining them with Yamba products, the play becomes more complex and offers more possibilities. This makes both toy systems exciting for older children (and even adults). Our age recommendation is 3 years and up.

Do Yamba products contain dangerous substances?

We subject our products to regular tests. External laboratory tests confirm compliance with the limit values for chemical components according to EN 71-3.

Where are Yamba products made?

We source our plastic products and Rolli from Switzerland. The wooden railway tracks come from a high-quality manufacturer in China.

What does the name Yamba mean?

Yamba is an idyllic coastal town on the east coast of Australia that we have firmly held in our hearts.
